Coronavirus Updates from the President

Jai Jinendra,

We are actively reviewing news about the status of the coronavirus. As the outbreak continues to evolve, JCNC’s priority remains the health and wellbeing of members, visitors, and employees.

With these latest and ever-changing developments, we want to assure JCNC community that we are taking the proper precautions to help prevent exposure and the spread by increasing frequency of the cleaning services, sanitization of commonly touched surfaces etc.

Currently, the CDC has said that “Based on current information, the risk from 2019-nCoV to the American public is currently deemed to be low,” but that “This is a rapidly evolving situation and the risk assessment may change daily.”

Personal Precautions: Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20-seconds or use at least a 60% alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water is not available.

We will continue to monitor the updates that are provided by the CDC and WHO and will keep you updated as a result.

We recommend reviewing the following regarding government travel notices for China:
